Leslie originally joined Landerer & Company in 1979, leaving in 1983. He rejoined Landerer & Company in January 2002 after spending 18 years in private practice as a litigation partner. Leslie has for many years represented insurance companies, banks, finance and leasing companies, other financial institutions, liquidators and receivers, major property developers and publicly listed corporations on a variety of complex and often multifaceted legal matters.
Leslie represented a number of the Kazaa respondents in one of Australia’s largest and longest running copyright infringement cases, has on numerous occasions successfully taken on the major Banks, other financial institutions and publicly listed companies on behalf of clients, has represented high profile clients in some of the largest family law property and financial disputes and has represented one of Australia’s now largest publicly listed companies in defending statutory charges against it.
